SAFETY/PRIVACY

1. What do you do with my personal information?
   
   We require your personal information for billing purpose and to identify our clients.  We need to provide your contact details to our suppliers so they can handle your booking request. We engage ourselves to not sell, rent, share or disclose your personal information.
    
2. Is my credit card information safe?  
   
   Bemyspa places the highest value on protecting your personal data. All information entered in our website including your credit card information is encrypted using VeriSign Inc's secure site program and securely transferred over the internet. You can click on the Verisign logo on the credit card processing page to verify our security certificate. Thanks to this encryption, doing an online purchase is as safe as making  a purchase over the telephone.

PAYMENT

1. How can I pay for my booking?
   
   You may pay online or via our call center with one of the following credit cards:  Visa, MasterCard or American Express.  Other modes of payment, such as debit cards, cash cards, and bank drafts, are not accepted. Your credit card will be charged upon confirmation of your booking.
    
2. Can I use internationally-based credit cards?

3. Do I always have to use the same credit card?
   
   You can use as many different credit cards as you want.

PRICING

1. Where do I see the total cost of my hotel/package including taxes, surcharges and fees?
   
   Total fees, including all taxes and additional fees, will be shown on the left column of all the pages of the booking process. Each time you add a new service to your booking, it will be added to your global quote on the left column. Besides a recapitulation page will summarize all the details of your booking at the end of the booking process.
   
   
2. Is the accommodation price per room or per person?
   
   Unless otherwise stated, the prices for accommodation are per room and the prices for any other service (packages, treatments, transfers, sightseeing tours…) are per person.

Booking a spa treatment through Bemyspa is a way to guarantee availability at your desired schedule. You can thus plan all your activities ahead and organize your trip at your convenience, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay without bad surprises.
    
2. How do I book?
   
   A hotel room with or without a treatment:
   You have several options to search for and book a hotel room:
   -   From the home page, enter one or several keywords such as Thailand, romantic or simply a part of the hotel name in the “Spa search” search engine.
   -   From any other page, enter one or several keywords in the field called “Find a resort spa” on the left column of the page and then click on the small arrow on the left side of this field. 
   -   If you want to run a multi-criteria search, click on “advanced search” link on the left column, select your price range, the destination of your choice, the theme of your vacations… and click on “search”.
   A new window will open where you will see all the resorts corresponding to your requirements. Once you have chosen a resort, select your check in and check out dates on the left column of the spa profile page and click on “OK”. Select the room that you prefer. If you want to change your meal plan or the bed configuration, click on “select more options”. Once you have selected the options you want, click on “book” to continue.  The total price of the rooms for the entire stay will be displayed on the left column.
   A new window will open where you will be able to book spa treatments. Select the treatment(s) you want to book and click on “book”. If you want to skip this step, simply click on “proceed with my payment” at the bottom of the page.  You will be asked to enter your data. Once all the mandatory fields in the form are filled in, you will have to tick box to accept the regulation on privacy and personal data processing. Click on the “pay now” button to accept and proceed.
   Do not click on refresh, back or stop button until the next page is displayed.
   The booking confirmation will be sent to your email address. Should you not receive that email confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible at customerservice@bemyspa.net.
   
   A treatment only:
   You have several options to search for and book a treatment:
   -   Using Treat Search (see the question “how is Treat Search working?”  In the usability section)
   -   From any page, enter one or several keywords in the field called “Find a day spa” on the left column of the page and then click on the small arrow on the left side of this field. 
   -   If you want to run a multi-criteria search, click on “advanced search” below “on the left column of the page, select your price range, the destination of your choice, the themes of your vacations… and click on enter.
   A new window will open where you will be able to see all the day spas corresponding to your requirements. Once you have chosen a day spa, select the treatment that you prefer, enter your desired date and schedule and click on “OK”.  If you want to book another treatment, click on “add another treatment” and repeat the operation.  All the treatments that you added will appear on the left column together with the total price of your quote.
   You will be then asked to enter your data. Once all the mandatory fields in the form are filled in, you will have to accept the regulation on privacy and personal data processing. Click on the “pay now” button to accept and proceed. Do not click on refresh, back or stop button until the next page is displayed. The booking confirmation will be sent to your email address. Should you not receive that email confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible at customerservice@bemyspa.net.
    
3. How can I contact you? Do I need to contact Bemyspa to confirm my reservation?
   
   Our call centre can be reached 24/7 by dialing 000000000. However, you don’t need to contact us to confirm your booking. You will automatically receive an email confirming your reservation within 4 working days. Bemyspa is currently using an on request system whereby the company is contacting spas directly to check availabilities. If you didn’t receive the email notification, check your junk or spam mail for an e-mail from Bemyspa. If you don’t see any confirmation, or if you have other questions, just dial  00000000000,our customer care team will be happy to answer any query you may have 24/7.
    
4. Can I purchase air tickets through Bemyspa?
   
   Bemyspa does not directly sell airplane tickets. However we work with online price comparators. At the end the booking process, you’ll be redirected to a flight comparator to book a flight ticket if you wish so. Our call center can also assist you…
    
5. What if the spa / hotel (or other service provider) doesn't have my booking?
   
   In the improbable event that one of our service providers hasn’t any record of your booking in its system, please ask them to contact the incoming agency acting as our representative agent in the concerned country.  They will be able to advise them on your booking.

YOUR TRIP

1. What is a voucher and what do I use it for?
   
   Vouchers are travel documents that have to be printed from our website after the booking process is complete. You can alternatively print your vouchers from your email box. It will be attached in the email notification we sent to you. They certify your correct hotel or service reservation (spa treatments, sightseeing tours, transfers…). They must be presented together with your ID when you want to use the concerning hotel reservation or tourist service.
    
2. What ID do I need to check-in?
   
   Most of the time, you will just need to give the name that you made the booking under and present a printed copy of your confirmation e-mail. In some countries, you will also be required to present your passport or Certificate of Identity.
    
3. What things should I remember before I travel?
   
   You’ll find below a short travel check list of items you should not to forget before your start your trip:

2. How is Treat Search Working?
    
   Treat Search aims at linking a health condition to a series of alternative medicines.
    
   Based on all the scientific research performed in the past years (up to September 2008), we have been able to connect the treatment of health conditions to alternative medicines and sort out its effectiveness according to:
   + The results yielded by researches (are they convincing enough? Crosschecking: What are the results if a placebo is used?)
   + The experimental design of the latter researches (how was the study performed? Was the size of the study significant? Was there any discriminative elements in the process?)
   + The use of such treatments by healthcare professional not connected to alternative medicine directly
   + Safety issue connected with the treatment
    
   Therefore, until experiments are carried out, a connection between an alternative medicine and a health condition. Even though this creates a bias towards some more documented alternative medicines (i.e. TCM versus Ayurveda), we prefer not to indulge in rumors or reported positive effects and base our methodology on scientific grounds. However, this method is not purely objective as we have used our own grading system to qualify matches between alternative medicine and health condition according to the scientific documentation we gathered.
    
   In our system, grades are going from 0 to 12:
    
   - 0: no study have been so far made or results from experiments are proving the inefficiency of an alternative medicine on a health condition
   - 1-2: some small studies has been performed with underwhelming results and prompts to further study
   - 3-4: results are mild or experimental designs flawed
   - 5-6: there have been qualified evidence from a series of studies and ongoing research should give a more accurate perspective on how the alternative medicine is really acting on the health condition (what is the biological mechanism?)
   - 7-9: large research has been performed with positive results though the biological mechanism has yet to be clearly identified.
   -  10-12: research have allowed to establish a clear connection between an alternative medicine and a health condition with well understood mechanisms
    
   Treat Search sort out at most the 3 most relevant matches between a health condition and alternative medicines according to this grading system. Results are displayed from left to right by order of importance (the latter being also represented by the size of the logos).
    
   The spa results that are then displayed are spa offering these alternative medicines among their spa treatments: they are displayed according to an internal ranking of their spa menu connected with the latter alternative medicines. The spa receiving the best grades are however displayed at random to create no definite discrimination.
   
   Note:
    
   Treat Search is basically using scientific evidence to highlight the potential complementary benefits that can be generated by an alternative medicine when added to a conventional treatment. However, we stress the importance of a conventional treatment as an alternative medicine is not meant to replace the former. Treat Search should only be used to understand the possible positive effects of an alternative medicine on a health condition. Consulting a medical practitioner is strongly advised to get more insight regarding the use of an alternative medicine as a primary or secondary health treatment.
